Emerging btrace doesn't install blktrace.pdf. The problem is that line at the end of the ebuild:
use doc && doc/blktrace.pdf

I suppose that something like that makes more sense :)
use doc && dodoc doc/blktrace.pdf

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.emerge sys-block/btrace


Actual Results:  
Install fails to copy blktrace.pdf

Expected Results:  
blktrace.pdf should be copied to /usr/doc/btrace-*
