What good is a search tool on right-click ? I think you've found what you're searching for by then...

Selection is irrelevant, as it's not searching on/for anything you've selected, it's merely adding a launcher for Gnome's stock "Search for files..." dialog to Nautilus' context menu globally.

Still I agree this is not very useful, and I think such functionality is better implemented through custom userspace actions in gnome-extras/nautilus-actions (currently in the Sunrise overlay). A standalone Nautilus extension seems like overkill.
