media-sound/easytag-2.1-r1 has been in portage since 08 May without any open busg. Is considered stable upstream. I been using it a lot since it was released with 0 problems (more than 10000 files taged, mostly mp3 but also ogg and mpc, UTF characters used: standard occidental, tildes, greek, japanese, turkish...). A stabilization would be nice. target archs: alpha, amd64, hppa, ppc, ppc64, sparc, x86 Reproducible: Always
We apply a patch in 2.1-r1 to fix strict aliasing issue but according to upstream this patch is not complete and correct solution will be included in next release. So, we are going to skip stabilizing this release. I would have requested this myself without this issue. Thanks however for being active :-)
