Thanks for helping to support gentoo linux. Currently, the time is: Wed Apr 2 00:40:39 UTC 2003 However, the timestamp on the mirror shows the last time it was sync'd was: Tue, 01 Apr 2003 21:00:00 +0000 Can you please verify that you're syncing the server every 30 minutes? --kurt
Kurt, I think the synchronisation problem has been solved. Could you check please ? We are synchronising against the mirror of the Twente University in the Netherlands.
I added 193.190.198.19 to the list of IPs allowed to connect to rsync1.us.gentoo.org. Please update your rsync cron job to sync against this mirror and let me know when you've done so. Thanks.
cronjob has just been modified and a first manual synchro has been done. Next is scheduled in about 17 minutes.
completed a full rsync without problems. this server will be rsync3.be.gentoo.org. I've added it to the european rotation. it will be added to the main rotation shortly (we're working on some limitations with DNS and rrsets spilling over into TCP instead of staying with UDP) I've also subscribed ftpmaster@belnet.be to the gentoo-mirrors mailing list.
