I would like to have Michael Haubenwallner <michael.haubenwallner@salomon.at> as part of the Gentoo developer community with commit access to gentoo-x86. Michael will primarily work on the Gentoo/Alt:Prefix project of which I am the project lead. I will mentor Michael. The first quiz is ready for submission.
The first quiz was send as Message-ID: <1183022445.13857.8.camel@sapc154> to recruiters@g.o at Thu, 28 Jun 2007 09:20:58 +0000 (UTC)
Michael, I will review your quizzes. Please send me an e-mail when you are ready in order to schedule a review session. For that review session make sure you have read http://devmanual.gentoo.org/ Denis.
Shouldn't Michael get/do the second quiz?
(In reply to comment #3) > Shouldn't Michael get/do the second quiz? Hence the "when you are ready". Also, could any of you please send recruiters a list of ebuilds that Michael wrote ? Anything from bugs.gentoo.org, or from an overlay, or committed to the tree by a developer will do. Thanks in advance. Denis.
(In reply to comment #4) > (In reply to comment #3) > > Shouldn't Michael get/do the second quiz? > > Hence the "when you are ready". What is that second quiz (or - what did I miss here) ? Thanks! /haubi/
(In reply to comment #5) > What is that second quiz (or - what did I miss here) ? Sorry for that dumb question, I just realized you mean the "end quiz".
The end quiz was send as Message-ID: <1184056666.13899.2.camel@sapc154> to recruiters@g.o at Tue, 10 Jul 2007 08:37:55 +0000 (UTC)

Please also send us an ebuild list as requested in comment #4. We need this before the review. Michael, the next step is you contact me by email with your availability for the review. Denis.
(In reply to comment #8) > We did receive it, thank you. Please also send us an ebuild list as requested > in comment #4. We need this before the review. I was not prepared for that question, so I still need to dig around a bit to see what applies. I hope to come up with the list today or tomorrow. I'm sorry for the delay.

I hope this is sufficient, otherwise I'll have to dig further. http://prefix-user.no-ip.org/svn/dev-util/confix/ http://prefix-user.no-ip.org/svn/eclass/confix.eclass
Quizzes have both been reviewed. Waiting for Michael to complete his two extra assignments to proceed further. Note that Michael will be on vacation from 16 July to 6 August with limited net and computer availability. Denis.

- Last (viewable) bugzilla activity: 2012-09-12 - Last CVS activity: Mon, 16 Apr 2012
(In reply to comment #13) > - Last (viewable) bugzilla activity: > 2012-09-12 > - Last CVS activity: > Mon, 16 Apr 2012 Oh my dear - indeed! Nope, I don't plan to retire at all. Actually, we still do use an old fork of Prefix here in the company, and we will have to upgrade sometime in the not-so-far future - after I've got the exotic platforms to work again in (upstream) Prefix.
In that case, could you please set a devaway message with an approximately ETA to come back? Also, I have seen you have some bugs assigned to you, maybe you should release some of your packages maintained only by you for others (or even maintainer-needed) if you don't have enough time for them. Thanks :)

Or just fix them... had created some patches before already, but failed to commit them before. Thank you!

Closing for now then, but remember to release some packages for "up for grabs" if you find don't have enough time to fix their bugs to prevent people from seeing their reported bugs unfixed in the tree for a long time ;)
