Aethera is a pim application, i.e. it handles all kinds of personal information:
email, contacts, notes, tasks, todos, journals. It has various communication
features regarding: send/receive email, send/receive task requests and
appointment requests via email and it can also send SMSs using web gateways.

I'm attaching a source RPM. I unpacked this and I can get most of the items to
compile except for Aethera itself. I followed the spec files in the SPEC
directory as the lead developer told me to yet I'm stuck on aethera. I was
hoping to have it compiling before I uploaded it but I need a more experienced
developer to help with this. Thanks guys/gals. :)

Please email me for the source rpm. Bugzilla is bugged or something because this is the second time today that I can't upload attachments without getting

Status: 400 Bad request (malformed multipart POST)

And I select binary as the file type.

I've not been able to get the time to learn how to create ebuilds and then try it with this app. Got a newborn in the house and all now.

I've been trying to compile this from source without success and theKompany doesn't seem to want to help me in any way. Their attitude is if you don't use RH or SuSE or any other RPM based distro that they make a build for they don't care to hear from you.

If the app wasn't so damn good (I was able to just do an RPM install of the SuSE build and it works) I wouldn't be pursuing it.
