Currently, I am unable to run epsxe with plugins under my x86_64 system. The reason is that I keyworded the psemu-* libs with x86 to force them to download and compile. The problem is that these get compiled into a 64-bit format, and thus will not work with the 32-bit epsxe. So, I'm requesting a package with pre-compiled 32-bit psemu libraries, for compatibility purposes. Or, if I can compile these as 32-bit myself, please let me know. Reproducible: Always
I took things into my own hands, and made a 32-bit chroot. I compiled the psemu libs, transferred them to my normal 64-bit environment, and everything works fine now. I can package these and upload an ebuild I guess, if I learn how to make one properly.
games-emulation/epsxe is not keyworded for amd64 and will remain so as our AMD64 team is more than busy enough and has really no time to maintainer compat libs for a game. Sorry.
I thought developers worked for the end-user? If something is in high demand, don't you think that someone would assist? We aren't asking for someone to maintain these plugins, we are asking for someone to make them 64 compatible. You already have one person that has gone the extra mile to help people out, take the builds from his 32bit chroot, and uplaod them to portage so that we can all benefit from them.
