Description Jean-Noël Rivasseau (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2007-06-26 10:37:27 UTC
Probably does not merge on x86 as well...

It compiles fine but fails on the javadoc.

Does not happen here. Could be some error in the javadoc generating part, which does not make the whole build fail. Please post full build log and emerge --info.

Looks like bug in sun-jdk-1.5 (see upstream URL) that they bothered to fix only in jdk6. So, (Sun, didn't test others) 1.4 and 1.6 is fine, so we either restrict to those JDK's with USE=doc, or try to find and fix the malformed tag so the bug is not triggered anymore.

Unless upstream is very active and would fix the tag right away, I am in favor of compiling with 1.4/1.6 ...

Works with 2.7.0 and sun-jdk-1.5.0.17.
