1.3.3 is likely too old to be able to deal with this specific AAC stream. Please try the following: echo "media-plugins/audacious" >> /etc/portage/package.keywords emerge audacious-plugins If this resolves the issue I will see about getting 1.3.5 stabilized early.
To confirm, this stream has now played for 3 hours and 50 minutes. As this is not a genre of music that I particularly appreciate, I will shut this stream off now. However, for as far as I can see it is completely stable.
(In reply to comment #3) > Please try the following: > echo "media-plugins/audacious" >> /etc/portage/package.keywords > emerge audacious-plugins If you try this instead, it will actually work... echo "media-plugins/audacious-plugins" >> /etc/portage/package.keywords emerge audacious-plugins Sorry about that.
This has fixed the problem thank you Tony Vroon. echo "media-plugins/audacious-plugins" >> /etc/portage/package.keywords emerge audacious-plugins
