app-emacs/csharp-mode works fine with the new emacs 22, but the ebuild requires
either emacs-cvs or emacs 21+cc-mode.

I think it just needs updating, as the old emacs cvs was just the emacs 22 development branch, and emacs 22 is now in portage

Yes, we know that already.  We changed the elisp.eclass to make the DEPEND lines more flexible.  Currently the code is in our Overlay, next week I will transfer it to the normal Portage tree.

 That happens, as not everyone checks every commit to our overlay. :)

 algosystems, we would be happy if you could test the ebuilds in the overlay.  Use layman (emerge it, see its documentation how to add an overlay to your system) to get the "emacs" overlay.
