Hi everyone,
I am not able to emerge gwave which was provided by geda-suite, the build of sci-electronics/gwave-20060606 fails with the following error

For starters, re-emerge whatever provides /usr/lib/libguilegtk-1.2.so, it's apparently broken.

Re-emerging guile-gtk doesnt seem to work

What version of guile do you use ? gwave doesn't work with >=guile-1.8, so you have to add that to your package mask and downgrade guile if necessary (which should be done automatically as gwave has DEPEND=dev-scheme/guile-1.6*). The mask is to prevent portage to update to >=guile-1.8 at a later time.

i have guile 1.8, am currently downgrading it to 1.6 as advised. Will report back the results
