Description Wulf Krueger (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2007-06-23 16:52:23 UTC
See URL:

In "2. Installing KDE" the first subheading is "Installing KDE as Monolithic Packages". This is confusing users and makes it look like the monolithic packages are the preferred way to install KDE (which it is not).

It would be good if "Installing KDE as Split Packages" came first instead.

Furthermore, a prominently displayed note should be added, stating clearly that the split ebuilds are to be preferred.

Thanks for reporting; fixed in CVS.
