Seems like your ebuild is corrupt, it tries to download the wrong file "pine4.33" instead of "pine4.33.tar.gz". Maybe an emerge rsync helps.

Nope. But if I used another mirror (e.g. oregonstate.edu) then it worked. The problem 
seems to be: 
 
1. The ebuild links to an original file that is moved 
2. The distfile was not on my mirror http://sunsite.cnlab-switch.ch
