CPU: 2x Intel(R) Xeon(TM) CPU 3.20GHz RAM: 4GB Hdisk: 4TB Uplink: 100Mbps but could be easily be extended to 1Gbps if traffic exceeds. Concurrent users: As many as the system will be able to handle. Current max is 500 but will be extended if the system performs well.

I'm gmt+2 (allthow the rsync server I'm downloading is missing minutes). Maybe it's that server that causing the delay. Here is my script: /usr/bin/rsync -rlvt --progress --timeout=600 --delete --delete-after ftp.ussg.iu.edu::gentoo-distfiles /local/mirror/gentoo is ftp.ussg.iu.edu a valid primary rsync server or should I use another one? and here is my cron job where you can see it is every 4 hours at 04. 04 */4 * * * user /etc/cron.ftp/gentoo >/var/log/rsync/gentoo 2>&1 regards Giannis
