The attached afacli-bin-2.7.1.ebuild provides a method of installing the afacli client application which is the command line interface for the Adaptec RAID controller that Dell uses as their PERC 3Di. Created attachment 122743 [details] afacli tool for Dell's PERC 3Di raid controler. This ebuild runs, but the functionality and stability of the program has not been tested. Thoughts: The issue with this application is that who ever wrote it is using the kde/arts sound libs for god knows what reason. I have no idea why a server would need kde or arts as ours doesn't have a sound card. Insted of requiring arts and kde and xorg and another 50 packages that i didn't have installed, I hacked the ebuild to load the libartsc.so library from some binary packages for kde via gentoo mirror.
