Installed gnash.
Added /lib/kde3 to plugin directory list. 
Scanned for plugins.
Get error (crash) message for nsplugin scan from konqueror with backtrace:

nsplugins installed as part of kdebase-3.5.5-r4.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Installed gnash
2. Added /lib/kde3 to plugin scan directory
3. Scan for new plugins in konqueror

Actual Results:  
nspluginscan crashes and I get a SIG11 error from konqueror.

Expected Results:  
the gnash plugin are found (they are not).

Please add your "emerge --info" and the output of "emerge -pv gnash". Furthermore, that backtrace is not useful, I'm afraid. Please read http://www.gentoo.org/proj/en/qa/backtraces.xml to find out how to provide useful ones.

Sorry, this somehow fell through the cracks. :) 

I couldn't reproduce this issue, though. Does the problem persist when using KDE 3.5.7?

Also check bug #193513 , there's some issue in nsplugins due to gtk+,
it seems (with netscape-flash it hangs, maybe with gnash it crashes)....

No response and works for me.
