hum, I'm using this in a gdesklet applets and it shows strange behaviors with jpeg images. Is there any way to test it other that the ImageSlideShow gdesklet applet ?

after investigating more in the issue mentionned in comment #2, it happens that it's not PIL's fault. PIL works fine.
Ok. One and a half year later this is still in unstable. What can i do to make this happen? :-(
