Description Coran Fisher 2002-04-15 20:06:43 UTC
I'd like more Japanese support in Gentoo, specifically the addition of kinput2,
kterm, and canna (or even Wnn). Gjiten would be a fun little add on as well.

OK, but we don't have any developers who are skilled in this area (ie. who know
Japanese)
Comment 2 Seemant Kulleen (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2002-06-21 11:18:01 UTC
We do now :)

Some of your requests are already in. I'm working on others, are you willing to
beta test new ebuilds for me, if I email them to you?
Comment 4 Coran Fisher 2002-07-06 23:11:59 UTC
Yes I'm willing to betatest. One other request I just noticed that would be
very helpful is jless (which I'm used to) or if there's a way to compile less
with Japanese support that would be good.
