It also fixes a "classical" crash bug: http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=334966 Thanks for version bump :-) http://ftp.acc.umu.se/pub/gnome/sources/evolution/2.10/evolution-2.10.2.tar.bz2 Reproducible: Always
I've already bumped evolution to 2.10.2 in my overlay. Here are some observations, which could save you a bit of time: gtkhtml 3.14.2 could be bumped by simple copy, e-d-s-1.10.2 does not need APOP-auth-fix.patch, evolution-2.10.2 does not need pilot-link-as-needed.patch. (both patches were applied upstream). http://overlays.gentoo.org/dev/pva/browser/gnome-extra/gtkhtml/gtkhtml-3.14.2.ebuild http://overlays.gentoo.org/dev/pva/browser/gnome-extra/evolution-data-server/evolution-data-server-1.10.2.ebuild http://overlays.gentoo.org/dev/pva/browser/mail-client/evolution/evolution-2.10.2.ebuild But generally evolution-2.10.2 should be bumped together with other gnome parts.
Peter, feel free to bump these (e-d-s-1.10.2, gtkhtml-3.14.2, evo-2.10.2) in portage tree yourself, provided you have already done sufficient testing and checking for any possible necessities for ebuild changes - like you already did for patching, but also double-checking with a diff between the configure.in files of old and new version, at the very least, to check if no DEPEND line needs to be changed or so on.
Thanks Mart. evolution-2.10.2 is in the tree. There are no version changes in configure.ins and works here more than week without problems. Enjoy :)
