Description Eivind Tagseth 2003-03-25 07:13:25 UTC
I don't know if this patch will be outdated really soon (if there is a new
python based etc-update coming), but I've already made the patch, I find it
useful, so I might as well share it.

And if it's outdated, consider it a feature request for the python version.

My problem:

I often find my self with 10-30 files in /etc having changed (especially when
upgrading XFree -- this has probably improved with the automerge feature, but I
still get many files that have changed and requires my manual attention).
Often, only a couple of those are files I need to merge manually, or ignore.
The rest is just a matter of inputing the filenumber, pressing 1, and repeat for
each file.

This patch lets you input 'A' instead of the file number. This will make
etc-update automatically process all the files in the update-list, as if you
choose 1 for each of them.

Sorry, please remove. I just noticed that this functionality has already been added. Sorry.
