Description Mirko Briemle 2007-06-06 15:05:41 UTC
Emerging (with paludis) grip caused an installation in which gnome-keyring was chosen as the last package. gnome-base/libgnomeui, which was installed 3 packages before, however depended on gnome-keyring, which is why I had to install gnome-keyring by hand in order to be able to finish the installation completely.

Reproducible: Didn't try

Steps to Reproduce:
1.paludis -ip grip

Actual Results:
The installation was stopped with gnome-base/libgnomeui and error occured.

Expected Results:
Smooth installation.

There might have been some circular dependencies that were caught by paludis at the beginning of teh installation.

There's an explicit dep on gnome-keyring, and no circular deps that I can find, and it works with portage. I'd classify this as a paludis bug.
