kdebase is installed. kdebase includes 'libkonq'. Still tork (and other ebuilds) want to install libkonq (which would mean going from monolithic to split ebuilds with all the disadvantages). The problem - libkonq is a dependency, kdebase is not. One of both would be sufficient. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.have latest kdebase installed 2.try to update tork 3.tork blocks because of libkonq Actual Results: tork and other ebuilds block because of kdebase Expected Results: tork and other ebuilds should not care if libkonq is installed or kdebase. Thanks for the bug report! tork is fixed in CVS. As for any other packages having this problem, please file another bug against either a complete list or individual packages if and when you find them.
Hi, thanks. Others seems to be ok. I was confused, because libkonq blocked again today, after an emerge sync and I edited the tork ebuild yesterday. So it was replaced with the libkonq wanting one - and that put back the block - but did not show tork in the emerge -auD world output. I should have used --tree first. Sorry, my bad. If I encounter any other problematic ebuilds, I will file the bugs. But at the moment, everything seems to be ok.
