Description Aniruddha Shankar 2007-06-04 12:37:37 UTC
When a cd was mounted, I pressed the eject button on my cd drive (yes, I know I should I have unmounted it first, it usually works, however). kded crashed and since i've built with debug symbols enabled just for this sort of an occasion, the backtrace is appended.

Reproducible: Always

backtrace of kded crash

here's the backtrace. Please tell me if I need to compile any package with USE=debug
Comment 2 Wulf Krueger (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2007-06-05 20:47:18 UTC
Can you reproduce this problem?

What are the versions of sys-apps/dbus, sys-apps/hal and dbus-qt3-old and what are their respective USE flags?

(Please just add the output of emerge -pv <atom>.)
Comment 3 Aniruddha Shankar 2007-06-11 11:58:31 UTC
bodhi ~ # emerge -pv sys-apps/dbus sys-apps/hal dev-libs/dbus-qt3-old

These are the packages that would be merged, in order:

Calculating dependencies... done!
[ebuild R ] sys-apps/dbus-1.0.2-r2 USE="X -debug -doc (-selinux)" 0 kB
[ebuild R ] sys-apps/hal-0.5.9-r1 USE="crypt -acpi -debug -dell -disk-partition -doc -pcmcia (-selinux)" 0 kB
[ebuild R ] dev-libs/dbus-qt3-old-0.70 USE="-debug" 0 kB

will rebuild them with USE=+debug and try and duplicate the problem. Is there useful information in the already provided backtrace ?
