When I use kde 3.5.7 in my laptop with the multimediakeys configured with xmodmap, it's only able to change the sound level of the headphones, although I indicate it to change PCM, Internal Speaker or any other. Now, I have returned to kde 3.5.5 and it works well. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Install kde 3.5.7 and have multimedia keys configured by Xmodmap 2. Use the multimedia keys 3. Please file an upstream bug and post its URL here.
(In reply to comment #1) > Please file an upstream bug and post its URL here. > Sorry, I haven't understood you. Could you explain it better? Thanks (It's my fault, I'm still learning English, sorry)
No problem at all. :-) Please go to http://bugs.kde.org and report this bug there, too. Then post a link to your bug report here. If you need more help, let me know what your native language is, please.
Thanks, now I'm on exams and I had forgotten this, sorry. Here is the URL: https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=146867
Ok, thanks. Please re-open this bug when the upstream KDE developers have provided a fix or workaround or if there's any patch to fix this issue. For now, I'm afraid, we can't do anything about this.
