The ebuild should be fixed. ;-)

No idea what's causing this; it installs just fine. The console output is competely screwed though.
Comment 2 Michael Cummings (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2007-05-31 10:18:13 UTC
The problem is with the MANIFEST shipped with it (it should be plain text - its
not). I'd file an upstream bug, but it looks like the version the author
released on cpan is older than the one released on sourceforge - and that
hasn't been updated in 4 years. We'll see what comes of it, but there's really
nothing we can do for this (other than just recreating the MANIFEST and
redisting it, but that seems kinda silly).
Comment 3 Martin Mokrejš 2007-05-31 10:26:36 UTC
How about suggesting upstream to push current version into CPAN?
Comment 4 Michael Cummings (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2007-05-31 11:23:29 UTC
I'll attempt to contact the author - but the version on sourceforge (which is
the 'latest') hasn't been touched since November of 2001 - don't hold your
breath :)

And still no response from upstream. Unless there are objects, I'd like to add
a note to the ChangeLog about this bug and close this out. Despite a screwey
MANIFEST, the module still installs fine, and appears to be in use (otherwise
folks wouldn't have noticed it :)

How about http://search.cpan.org/src/MARKUSB/PDF-Create-0.08/CHANGES ?

Marked ppc stable, closing since we're the same arch.
