Description patrickrecher 2007-05-28 09:22:28 UTC
In the german Installationdoc, the timezone is only set in /etc/conf.d/clock, but this is not enough. The zoneinfo file has to be copied/linked to /etc/localtime, like in the english documentation.
Ex.
cp /usr/share/zoneinfo/Europe/Zurich /etc/localtime
Otherwise the "date" or "uname" command shows a error message: Local time zone must be set"

Reproducible: Always

Actual Results:
I copied the zoneinfo like in the english doc and now the problem is solved!

Fixed for x86 and amd64 since the other archs aren't yet updated to 2007.0.

grahl, if you want to point any fingers, nightmorph forced me to do it!
