Description Alistair Bush (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2007-05-27 08:06:33 UTC
Currently there seems to be an error when attempting to download sun-jdk-1.4.2.14 , sun-jre-1.4.2.14, and the corresponding javadocs. via this page http://java.sun.com/j2se/1.4.2/download.html or via the links within the ebuild.

I have notified sun customer care so hopefully it will be back up shortly.

Otherwise could this be the end of sun-jdk/jre 1.4?

If they have EOLed it, the file should be in their archive site, but I doubt that they would have done it as I haven't seen any news about it.
