Description Renato Caldas 2007-05-26 16:26:54 UTC
vtun-3.0.0 is out since 2006-12-11 06:51 on the sourceforge page. Unfortunately they haven't updated the main(?) website, so it still only lists 2.9.90.

I really need >=2.9.90 version for my connection to the university, so I hope it gets in portage.. I can provide the ebuild as soon as I create one.

I've created a vtun-3.0.0 ebuild that needed lzo1 to work, but it was trashed due to a new testing vtun-3.0.1 that natively works with lzo2 (no need for lzo patches).

It's version vtun-3.0.1-rfe1602625, and it seems to work perfectly. I've successfully tested it connecting to a vtun-2.9.90 server, and it works. It shouldn't work with version 2.6 though..

The ebuild will go on annex, please test it..

BTW I've named it vtun-3.0.1.ebuild because the rfe1602625 suffix isn't "standard" to portage. I'm not sure how I should have named it..

Please note that you still need vtun.rc and vtund-start.conf from the files dir of the 2.6 version.
