Marcel,

I can't reach your rsync mirror, so I'm pulling you off rotation till the issues is fixed.

Admin email for 212.79.254.44 doesn't exist, removing mirror completely.

ftp for rsync://213.204.195.9/gentoo-portage/ is the same as ftp://mirror.scarlet-internet.nl/pub/gentoo/

They seem to have dropped the gentoo mirror

Hi,

rsync5.nl is up again (212.79.254.44). Email used to be company email, you can use frido.ferdinand@gmail.com for further notifications. Also removed from accesslist of rsync1.us, suggest to enable this first so we can sync up.

Any update on this ?

Hi Frido,

I'm sorry for the lack of response, we've recently taken on more volunteers (me!) to help with mirror management and I've only just spotted this.

Once a mirror has been removed from rsync1.us.gentoo.org it's "usual" for them to sync up elsewhere so we can regularly test things are online + not lagging for a week or two before adding back to the DNS rotation.

Marking as resolved, as requested. Thanks for your service as a mirror.

Alex
