Description Carlos Eduardo Santos 2007-05-25 17:23:57 UTC
iwconfig shows 24Mb/s. If I switch to 54Mb/s, I can't ping anymore. Switching back to 24 or 11Mb/s works. No log in kernel, bcm43xx debug is set.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.iwconfig eth1 rate 54M
2.ping www.gentoo.org

I assume this is the same hardware as in bug 179768. Unfortunately only the low bit rates are supported on the 4318 at this point.

Further development is continuing in the bcm43xx-mac80211 driver, if you want to help get this fixed you should reproduce it there and then write to upstream.
