Description Paolo 2007-05-23 13:05:13 UTC
I'm not sure it's a real bug but it most probably is.
When I emerge AMule 2.1.3, during the building process it crashes and stops.
These are the last lines:

So build media-libs/gd with png use flag.

btw.: if ! use gtk && ! use remote && ! use amuled; then ... and the letting the ebuild fail is not acceptable (the build_with_use checks, due to missing use deps are an ugly exception) . Change the dependencies to fall back to a default, when conflicting use flags are set.

Comment 2 Christian Fuß 2007-05-24 04:18:03 UTC
Check your USE Flags for media-libs/gd, PNG Flag must set.

then Check your Amule USE Flags i use the following, it work's for me:

[ebuild R ] net-p2p/amule-2.1.3 USE="gtk nls unicode -amuled -debug -remote -stats"

Check with these useflags and rebuilded gd with png Flag, if it does successfull compile.

Ok, just adding png flag to media-libs/gd it worked out. I get amule built.
My use flags for amule were:

[ebuild R ] net-p2p/amule-2.1.3 USE="amuled gtk nls remote stats unicode -debug"

I marked this bug as INVALID cause I think it wasn't a real bug.
