Description Patrick 2007-05-22 14:00:27 UTC
This is actually an upstream bug, but I want to report it here to inform the devs and users of the package what's happening.

Since the update from SquirrelMail 1.4.9a to 1.4.10a, the GPG plugin (version 2.0 is bundled with SquirrelMail 1.4.10a on Gentoo) stopped working properly. To be specific, "Sign on Send" does not work anymore. This has been confirmed by another person, and one of the developers is trying to solve the problem. The discussion can be found on the plugin's mailing list: http://nax.braverock.com/pipermail/gpg/2007/000043.html

So, probably in the next days a new version of this plugin will be released (version 2.1) which should fix the issue. It would be good to have a -r1 of the squirrelmail package in portage which provides this new plugin version then, imo.

Cheers,
Patrick.

Reproducible: Always

Thanks for pointing this out to us. 1.4.10a was rushed into stable for a security vulnerability, so I'm sorry we missed this. Please poke me here when the version is out otherwise I'll just check the thread and plugin list this weekend.

A workaround for this is here:
http://nax.braverock.com/pipermail/gpg/2007/000048.html

I'll include it in a revbump in the next couple days.

This should be working with 1.10a-r2, btw...
