Hi,

Rats (Rough Auditing Tool for Security) is a small source code analysis and
auditing tool which can help developer to audit their software by automatically
find critical parts of the software which could be vulnerable.

You will find an ebuild for the current stable version (Version 2.1) attached to
this message.

Rats depends on the expat library.

I suggest dev-utils/rats for rats.

Greetings
  Boris

Please note, if you install rats into an image directory it will not work, cause it will search it's databases. Otherwise you have to use the -d option to specify the location of the data (the *.xml files - IMAGEDIR/usr/share/rats/*.xml).
