Could you try without ccache and report back. Thanks.
Comment 2 Samuli Suominen (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2007-05-16 08:48:37 UTC
Note myself: Tried reproducing with x86 and x86_64 with and without ccache enabled and it still works. However, I haven't tried upgrading path from 1.1.5_rc2 with ccache enabled yet.
Comment 3 Christoph Mende (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2007-05-17 00:18:25 UTC
#if GTKVERSION < XVC_VERSION(2, 5, 0)
^- that's line 1438, where the error occurs, I'm able to reproduce here, seems like GTKVERSION isn't defined for us while it's defined for you.
A quick grep on the workdir gave me:
config.h:14:#define GTKVERSION
config.h.in:13:#undef GTKVERSION
config.log:945:pkg_cv_GTKVERSION=2.10.12
config.log:1203:#define GTKVERSION
I'm currently emerging all the deps in my stable chroot to see if it works there :>
Comment 4 Connor 2007-05-18 08:17:06 UTC
without ccache, bug remains, and package fails to build
Comment 5 Samuli Suominen (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2007-05-31 12:20:56 UTC
Allright, from upstream ChangeLog..

I've bumped xvidcap to 1.1.6. How is that for you guys?

Try 1.1.6, thanks.
Comment 7 Christoph Mende (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2007-05-31 18:22:54 UTC
1.1.6 emerges fine
Comment 8 Samuli Suominen (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2007-05-31 18:25:09 UTC
Thanks for testing. Closing per Comment #7.
