when emerging you 1st get a couple of chmod errors somewhere in distfiles/cvs-src/gaim-cvs then it fetches the source from cvs but never terminates. after the last file it just sits there until it gets killed by userinput. emerging without userpriv and usersandbox works fine.

i experienced the same behaviour when trying to emerge giFT. so i guess there have to be made changes to either the cvs.eclass or portage. any more info i could provide?
this isn't getting enough attention imho, other thoughts?
Hi, sorry... I didn't pay enough attention to bugzilla lately... Yes, I am aware of the problem and will talk with carpaski about resolving it.

I forgot to say so here, but I rewrote cvs.eclass pretty heavily somewhere in mid-April. How's it now?
It seems to work just fine here. No problem with cvs ebuilds. Good job!
Yes, it works. Closing.
