Description Michele Noberasco (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2003-03-19 11:46:24 UTC
lin-seti is a command-line program allowing to mantain a cache of work units for
the Seti@Home client. Written in C, it should run on most unix-like systems,
including linux. It is designed to be cache-compatible with 'Seti Driver' for
Windows. Can run as system daemon, so no need to be logged in for work unit
elaboration.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:

The program should run on every unix-like system and has been much tested on
some x86 and ultrasparc machines running various linux distributions, including
Gentoo, hence the "x86 sparc64" keywords. If the correct approach is marking it
unstable in the beginning, please do it.

lin-seti-0.6.1 ebuild

I believe this should go to app-sci/lin-seti, as most seti-related programs are
placed there.
Comment 2 Michael Imhof (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2003-03-19 15:45:21 UTC
Ok, i checked in the ebuild. It resists now in app-sci/lin-seti (not linseti).
I changed the keywords to ~ for all arches until you report that everything is ok as i did. Please note that there are no longer sparc and sparc64, now we have just sparc. (imho)

So test it and report as i can then unmask it and close this bug
Thanks for your submission!
Comment 3 Michele Noberasco (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2003-03-20 06:11:15 UTC
I tested it on all my x86 and ultrasparc machines...
It works flawlessly.

For me you can unmask it on x86 and sparc.
I would like to hear something from other arch realms, but
never got any feedback there... maybe with this ebuild
it will be tested by more people.

Thank you for your (swift) work!

I unmasked for x86 and sparc.
I'll close this bug now.
Thanks for your submission!
