Description Sebastijan Vacun 2007-05-11 02:13:31 UTC
I've been trying to include NIC support in kernel (tg3).
But when I select it and recompile kernel, it wasn't there. I tried few other NICs, as built in and as module with no success.
Yes, it's true, that the modification time was in future (I set the time wrong and then set it few hours back), but I assumed it's just a warning.
The changes in Networking ATA, SCSI went OK.

But when I reemerge the gentoo-sources, everything went OK.

I know, thats not a real issue, but maybe there samo other issues because of this.

Reproducible: Didn't try

Steps to Reproduce:
1. install system, emerge gentoo-sources
2. set the time few hours in past
3. compile the kernel

Fix your system clock, please. This is not a bug.
