I'd like to second that.

Changes:

2007-05-02: Version 1.2.2 released. Memcached can be configured to support multithreading. Big code cleanup with performance improvements. Memcached now collects eviction and per-object-type statistics.

Added ebuild for memcached-1.2.2 and diff between 1.2.1-r1 and 1.2.2

Hmz seems like Lisa didn't make it last Wednesday...

Since the maintainer seems rather busy with non-Gentoo stuff, can someone else please add this to portage? The attached ebuild works fine.
