Hello,

the sources for this package are retrieved from tigris.org svn server, which, afaik, gives no read-only anonymous access.

also not sure whether GPL-2-with-linking-exception is equal to GPL-2 with classpath exception

some optional dependencies (e.g. commons-httpclient-3.1_rc2, simple, grizzly, ..) are not in gentoo tree

also there are two extensions, for www-servers/jetty-5 and for www-servers/jetty-6, there must be a way to autodetect which versions to include in the restlet.jar.

also I don't know why I get this error:

Thanks for the ebuild.  Pity it is retrieved from svn, but oh well for now at least :)

just some feedback.

eant will die on its own so no need for

eant ........ || die "blah"

As for the zip error.  its because It isn't finding anything to zip.  Sorry if that isn't very specific :)

for any packages that are not available on gentoo yet.  it would be great if you could file ebuild request bugs (as long as there isn't any already) and block this bug.  that would help us track the deps.

There are also bad things with spring-2.0, upon which noelios-restlet depends, - afaik, there is no ebuild with stable version, currently there is spring-2.0.5 released...

This is almost 8 years old. Are you still interested in packaging this ebuild? If not, I will close this ticket. FYI, I haven't found a working homepage. Is this project still alive?

this project is now alive at https://github.com/restlet/restlet-framework-java but you should close this, because a new ebuild should be made because project name and structure changed.

Thanks a lot for the info. I'm going to close this bug. Can you please file another one if you still want to see this ebuild make it into the tree? Better yet, send us a PR as the Gentoo project too is on Github now: https://github.com/gentoo/gentoo.
