When rc_hook_abort is raised, the splash should be removed.

To raise one of these events for testing, modify /etc/init.d/checkroot or similar. Move the "exec rc-abort" call into unconditional codepath (e.g. right at the top of start()).

Fixed in 1.4.2. Thanks for your help with debugging the patch :)
