Description Luca Marturana 2007-05-07 14:23:34 UTC
Disk manager is a simple filesystem configurator that allow you to :
    * Automaticly detect new partitions at startup.
    * Fully manage configuration of filesystem.
    * Enable/disable write support for NTFS (need ntfs-3g installed).

I suggest x11-misc

Simply renaming the ebuild makes it work for RC1 too.

I'm on x86.

disk-manager-1.0_rc1.ebuild

In reply to #2

You need also to change MY_P variable in the ebuild, otherwise it will download beta2 sources. This is the correct ebuild, the software installs fine, but on my system it exits with this message:

Traceback (most recent call last):
  File "/usr/bin/disk-manager", line 104, in ?
    main(args, opts)
  File "/usr/bin/disk-manager", line 75, in main
    app = DiskManager()
  File "/usr/lib/python2.4/site-packages/DiskManager/DiskManager.py", line 116, in __init__
    parent = self.window_main, sanity_check = True)
  File "/usr/lib/python2.4/site-packages/DiskManager/Fstab/FstabHandler.py", line 52, in __init__
    self._check_unknow()
  File "/usr/lib/python2.4/site-packages/DiskManager/Fstab/FstabHandler.py", line 84, in _check_unknow
    True, _("Remove selected"), self.parent)
AttributeError: 'FstabHandler' object has no attribute 'parent'

It should be an upstream bug.

disk-manager-1.0_rc2.ebuild

Version bump, seems to work fine.

This time I remembered to change MY_P, sorry about the mistake in the previous post.

(this is an automated message based on filtering criteria that matched this bug)
'EBUILD' is in the KEYWORDS which should mean that there is a ebuild attached
to this bug.
This bug is assigned to maintainer-wanted which means that it is not in the
main tree.
Heuristics show that no Gentoo developer has commented on your ebuild.

Hello, The Gentoo Team would like to firstly thank you for your ebuild
submission. We also apologize for not being able to accommodate you in a timely
manner. There are simply too many new packages.

Allow me to use this opportunity to introduce you to Gentoo Sunrise. The
sunrise overlay[1] is a overlay for Gentoo which we allow trusted users to
commit to and all users can have ebuilds reviewed by Gentoo devs for entry
into the overlay. So, the sunrise team is suggesting that you look into this
and submit your ebuild to the overlay where even *you* can commit to. =)

Because this is a mass message, we are also asking you to be patient with us.
We anticipate a large number of requests in a short time.

Thanks,
On behalf of the Gentoo Sunrise Team,
Jeremy.
