According to http://www.cypherpunks.ca/otr/ the Off The Record plugin is now available for Pidgin 2.0.0. It would be nice to have an ebuild for this.

The former has a link to an unofficial pidgin-ported tarball, the latter promises sources checked into CVS "shortly".
I guess we can have the unoffical one in ~ARCH for testing.
