mail-notification does not build the evolution plugin because it does not find evolution during configure. Installed version of evolution is 2.11.1, so the ebuild expects evolution in /usr/include/evolution-2.11, but the evo dir is /usr/include/evolution-2.12
Even if I write the correct path into the ebuild it does not find evolution on configure.

The evolution 2.11/2.12 branch is not supported in mail-notification 4.0. I'm currently working on an updated ebuild for version 4.1, which should have out-of-the-box support for this version of evolution. An initial version of the 4.1 ebuild can be found in my personal overlay: graaff @ layman

mail-notification-4.1 is now in CVS and should work with recent versions of evolution. Please test and reopen the bug if there still is a problem.
