It'd be handy if there were a check in the ebuild for this kernel requirement. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. configure kernel, disable sysvipc, compile 2. load kernel image to mbr or similar 3. /etc/init.d/dnetc start Actual Results: dnetc failed to start Expected Results: Won $2,000 prize for cracking rc5

Note that the ebuild in portage is versioned incorrectly (should be 9013, not 9011). This ebuild makes dnetc more gentoo-ish/FHS-ish. This also checks for SYSVIPC. :)
Can we mark this as resolved and close it? I assume you tested it, Michael, and I don't run dnetc anymore.
It still needs for me to test it and add it to the tree. I will try to get to it in the next day or so.
OK, I've added a slightly modified version of this to my overlay. If there's no complaints in a couple days, I'll go ahead and move it to the main tree.
This is now in the tree. Thanks for the ebuild!
