app-crpyt/coolkey should have the ~ppc keyword added to its ebuild. After adding the ~x86 keyword for coolkey to package.keywords, I was able to successfully emerge this package onto my system. After adding the libcoolkeypkcs11.so module to Firefox, I was able to use a smart card to authenticate to a web site that requires a client certificate on the card to connect.
