Description Luud Heck 2007-05-03 23:26:08 UTC
Hi!

Please find attached two ebuilds for Photo Organizer and related postinstall.txt file. These ebuilds are for the latest stable releases of PO.

photoorganizer-2.33c.ebuild
photoorganizer-2.33d.ebuild

(The latter is just a copy of the former but with a new version for the ebuild filename)

At its most basic level, Photo Organizer is (yet another) a multiuser web-based photo gallery engine. It differentiates itself by focusing on asset management, aiming at the needs of professional photographers rather than the more typical "I need to share some images on the web and blog about it" crowd.

To that end, Photo Organizer is highly scalable, capable of handling tens of thousands of images with ease. Coupled with robust importing, exporting, searching, tagging, and printing capabilities, it is intended to act as a photographer’s primary image repository.

Photo Organizer is Free Software licensed under the GNU General Public License (GPL)

The official website for PO is http://po.shaftnet.org.

As this is a web application I suggest to place it in www-apps/photoorganizer.

The ebuild has a few use flags that only serve to facilitate dependency checking. This ebuild depends (optionally) on Phpm PostgreSQL, ImageMagick, Dcraw, Exiftool, Lcms and Ghostscript (for ps2pdf).

Cheers,
Luud

Fixed version of 2.34_rc4 ebuild

Missed some changeing requirements of 2.34:

* postgresql >= 8.0
* php >= 5.0
* exiftool is now required instead of optional.

Also, the license is now GPLv3.

(this is an automated message based on filtering criteria that matched this bug)
'EBUILD' is in the KEYWORDS which should mean that there is a ebuild attached
to this bug.
This bug is assigned to maintainer-wanted which means that it is not in the
main tree.
Heuristics show that no Gentoo developer has commented on your ebuild.

Hello, The Gentoo Team would like to firstly thank you for your ebuild
submission. We also apologize for not being able to accommodate you in a timely
manner. There are simply too many new packages.

Allow me to use this opportunity to introduce you to Gentoo Sunrise. The
sunrise overlay[1] is a overlay for Gentoo which we allow trusted users to
commit to and all users can have ebuilds reviewed by Gentoo devs for entry
into the overlay. So, the sunrise team is suggesting that you look into this
and submit your ebuild to the overlay where even *you* can commit to. =)

Because this is a mass message, we are also asking you to be patient with us.
We anticipate a large number of requests in a short time.

Thanks,
On behalf of the Gentoo Sunrise Team,
Jeremy.
