Description Theofilos Intzoglou 2003-03-17 06:20:06 UTC
I get the following error when I try to emerge httrack:

!!! httrack-3.22-3.tar.gz: message digests do not match!
!!! httrack-3.22-3.tar.gz is corrupt or incomplete.
>>> our recorded digest: f983978573b245e2340c3d3ddf8c4bc1
>>>  your file's digest: 212d10681d207cdd7c84521a1fb5b17a
>>> Please delete /usr/portage/distfiles/httrack-3.22-3.tar.gz and refetch.

however the file was checked by running 'tar tvfz
/usr/portage/distfiles/httrack-3.22-3.tar.gz' and no error was found.
I did erase the file and redownload it but still the same error occurs.
I even erased the whole /usr/portage dir and emerge synced it back. Still the
same. The file was downloaded from the 'ftp.ntua.gr' mirror.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.emerge httrack

no, the upstream maintainers decided to screw everything up with their tarballs, all the
tbz2's point to the newest release...SWEET fellas...

i posted a message to their forums, and have bumped httrack in portage...i'm removing
3.22-3, as there is NO reason to keep in in becuase its just 3.23
