Description Lars Weiler (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2003-03-16 21:05:21 UTC
This version is running without problems since about two months.

I suggest to mark it as stable and, because it is a complete substitute for
pmud, name it also in the installation guide as a tool for the power-management.

Yep this is fine with me, I'll tag it now, and pass to rajiv so we can get the
changes in the appropriate docs :)

Actually only the ppc-FAQ needs to be changed, because it still suggests to install both pmud and pbbuttonsd.

rajiv, please change the line in ppc faq:

'pbbuttonsd gives you the use of all the laptop buttons for volume brightness etc.'

into:

'pbbuttonsd is a tool that enables the brightness and volume keys on most ppc laptops. Latest versions also allow it to act as a pmud replacement.'
