As reported here (*) net-misc/mDNSResponder-107.6-r2 misses to install mdnsd. It get's built, but apparently never installed, which makes the init.d services fail (besides that zeroconf obviously wont work anymore): # /etc/init.d/mDNSResponderPosix start * Caching service dependencies ...
