-fwritable-strings is not set anywhere in toshiba-utils. The flag comes from somewhere else, maybe dependand library configs, gtk+?
Comment 2 Daniel Armyr 2007-05-10 13:28:34 UTC
Is there a way to trace this?
Comment 3 Stefan Schweizer (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2007-05-10 13:37:34 UTC
grep might be a good help. YOU could repeatedly stop the compile and use grep to find out here it gets added. Or qlist gtk+ | xargs grep ..
